I figured a blog would be a great medium for RSS and Atom subscribers to get study reminders right next to your news and entertainment feeds, just like all the other important information in your life. As if studying a few hours a day wasn't enough.
These postings are by no means comprehensive and will not alone prepare you for the test. I'll be posting snippets of things I learn along the way that are of use to me. These will often be quick ways of recalling issues that I've adapted for my own learning style. They may or may not be of help with your own studies, but hopefully I can provide another viewpoint or insight into your studies as well. I'll also try to post example questions and explain the right and wrong aspects of the answers.
Along with all of this, I'm toying with the idea of doing a podcast and already have one ready to be published. I am uncertain if I can keep up the demand of recording/editing along with all of my studies, so the jury is still out on if I want to commit myself to such an endeavor. Keep an eye peeled for that podcast and I'll be taking feedback on what everyone thinks about it.
You can be assured that signing up for the RSS and even the emails won't get you put on any spam lists as I am the sole content provider and owner. I'm mostly doing this as a way to supplement my own studies and have an easily searchable archive of my notes. I just figured, why not share them? I've always wanted to know what it is that bloggers do, and am most definitely a hands-on learner. So here I am joining the blogoshpere. I hope it works out for the both of us.

For quick reference you'll find each post labeled by its corresponding Exam Topic Area e.g. Ethics, Quant, Econ, FRA, etc.
For now I only cover topics in the Level I Exam, and these will be marked as such by L1. When I get around to passing Level 1 and taking the Level 2 you'll see the added category.

Hi,
Any closer to a decision on the podcasts? I think it would be fantastic!
I've just been getting over some ailments and I had to move out of my home, so my study plan has been seriously sidetracked lately. I'm trying my hardest to play catch up at the moment. I won't stop publishing Level 1 posts until I have a good amount of the body of knowledge covered though. So even if I manage to pass the test in June, despite my detours, I will still be posting tips until I start studying for my Level 2 at the end of 2009. The podcast will likely have to wait until after June though.
